- Manage and Maintain Database Systems: Ensure the smooth operation and reliability of our database systems.
- Optimize Database Performance: Continuously improve database performance to meet the needs of our growing business.
- Assist in Database Design and Implementation: Support the design and implementation of new databases and modifications to existing ones.
- Perform Backups and Recovery Tasks: Ensure data integrity and availability through regular backups and recovery processes.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Database Issues: Identify and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: a degree in computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in database administration.
- SQL and Database Management Systems: Experience in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communication Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills:
- Database Tuning and Optimization: Proven experience in enhancing database performance.
