Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to analyze material specifications and drawings to understand key procurement requirements
- Obtain best prices amongst various vendors in order to make sound purchasing decisions
- Locate, analyze, and develop vendors and suppliers, both domestically and internationally to satisfy procurement requirements.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Manage suppliers to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality.
- Review and manage the supplier base to ensure consistency with the sourcing strategy.
- Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Salary Range: AZN 600 (for trainees). Eligible for standard performance and sales incentives upon successful completion of the probation period.
- Work time 5 day in week
- Engineering degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Oil and Gas, Petroleum Engineering.
- Has excellent verbal and written communications skills in English language. Knowledge of Russian, Turkish, and Azerbaijani languages is advantageous
- High proficiency in MS Office, Internet
- An understanding of business operations and processes is important to their work
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and documentation
