Work Location: Baku, Azerbaijan Maintenance of MS SQL database instances as part of OpenText Content Server business applications. Maintenance of MS SQL DB instances as a part of systems Functional responsibilities: - Problem analysis and finding the root cause of the problem
- creation of options for solving problems and a plan for elimination
- İmplement a solution to fix the problem
- Collection of DBMS performance statistics
- DBMS Performance Analysis
- Development of DBMS performance report with recommendations to the customer
- Providing data for opening a ticket to Microsoft technical support
- Collection of statistical data for technical support
- Provide technical support recommendations to fix the problem
- Database copying (test update)
- Configuring DBMS parameters based on performance analysis results
- Recommendations for changing server resources according to load analysis
- Proactive monitoring
- Set up an audit
- Make recommendations for routine maintenance by request
- Create database maintenance plans
- Creating scheduled jobs for DBMS
- Add, remove users, change access rights
- Reorganization of database objects
- İnstallation of database updates to fix specific problems
- Granting, blocking, changing the access level of database users
Tələblər
Qualifications and requirements: - Education: Master Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical field
- Microsoft SQL database administration certificate
- 3-years + of experience in administration and configuration of relational databases , Microsoft SQL
- Advanced database administration, management and performance tuning techniques specific to SQL Server
- Advanced knowledge in developing with TSQL, SQL/PL
- Experience in administration and configuration of Microsoft vendor software: Windows Server Operating System family
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in information systems and ability to apply that knowledge in practice
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
- Experience in IT projects
- Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations
- English language
Also, advantages: - Work , support or implementation experience with electronic document management on the OpenText Live link / Content Server platform - Maintenance experience of MS SQL Server 2012/2016 in VMWare virtualization environment - MS SQL backup and restore experience using the NetBackup agent
